Our Story

Grom was started by Angie's Subs owner Ed in 2012. It had a bunch of the Angie's staples like great sweet tea, Peruvian sauce, and subs, plus a full breakfast menu and different sides and lunch options

We were regulars at Angie's and Grom for years. We were friends with the staff. Ed even catered our wedding! We ate there so much we just decided to buy it from him in 2022.

We haven't changed much. We are still a hole in the wall. And proud of it! We are the kind of place where locals eat. We are tight with the beaches community. We got lots of ho-made stuff and items you can't find anywhere else.

Owned by locals. Run by family. You don't get more local than Grom! Oh, and what is a Grom you might ask? A grom is a young surfer or skater. You might say, "That little grom shreds" or "I almost ran the grom over when he ran across 3rd street with his skateboard". That's it!
